Somatics 1:1 Online Sessions



In a private online session, you’ll learn the self-care movement exercises that are at the heart of the Clinical Somatics approach. The movements are gentle but very effective and focus on relaxing the muscles that are holding unnecessary tension and causing you pain or discomfort. They can be done for the rest of your life. Anytime. Anywhere.

As you learn how to address the inefficient movement habits that result from past injuries, surgeries, repeated motions, and more - you'll learn how to relieve muscle and joint pain, and improve balance, body awareness, and muscular control.


Initial Online Session ~ (60 min.) $70

Your first session includes:

  • Detailed medical intake and health history

  • Assessment of your posture and gait

  • Personalized movement lesson focusing on your particular tension patterns

  • Short routine of Somatic Movements to practice for self care - the homework portion of my movement coaching sessions keeps my clients moving forward in between sessions.

  • Support materials - written description of the movements

  • Email support - The email support ensures you never feel stuck.


Additional Information:

Follow-Up Online Sessions (60 min.) $70


**3 - 5 sessions are typically recommended to learn the basics. Over the course of several sessions you'll learn the self care exercises to release the major muscles of the front, back and sides of your body.

Follow-up online sessions include:

  • Assessment of your posture and gait

  • Personalized movement lesson focusing on your particular tension patterns

  • Review of homework from previous session(s)

  • Short routine of Somatic Movements for home self-care - the homework portion of my movement coaching sessions keeps my clients moving forward in between sessions.

  • Email support - The email support ensures you never feel stuck.

How to Get Started

Are you interested in working with me? Here’s how to get started.

Step 1. Schedule an appointment. You can do that right here. Payment can be made by e-transfer to brendatuttrmt@gmail.com and will need to be made before your session begins.

Step 2. Watch your email for questions from me or fill out this form. Before we meet on Zoom, I’d like to know a bit about you and what you’d like to get out of working with me.

Step 3. “Reply” to that email and answer the questions.

Step 4. Prepare your space for the session. If you have an exercise mat set it up in a quiet space free of any distractions. If you don't have an exercise mat, a rug will work just fine. You will want enough space to be able to stretch your arms out to the side if you are lying on your back. Set up your device so that I can see you in the camera while you are lying on the floor.

Step 5. I use Zoom and will email you a link. All you have to do is click on the link and it will open up. You will need to download the app ahead of time if you haven't used Zoom before.

Step 6. At the scheduled time of your appointment, we’ll have our movement lesson.
